Located in a stand alone building at edge of the Camp in Costa Mesa, Mesa Lounge is where the who's who of Orange County wine's and dines. Only open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday both Valet and self Parking is available. The decor in the restaurant is a very sophisticated chic with just enough casual hipster twisted in. The cocktails are stiff and made by cute mixologists.

There's a new Chef in town. Chef Abel Vargas. He's well traveled and has an artistic eye for plating. The majority of the menu is shared plates. There are a few larger entree sized portions, but its way more fun to get 4 or 5 smaller plates to share. Price range is from $6 to upwards of $40 per plate.

I love it here. I used to live across the street and would walk over for dinner or a quick cocktail. Its changed a little in the last 10 years, definitely a bit more pricey, but its still a great place to go for a girls night out or a birthday dinner. And the food is so much better than I remember. I love that they have seasonal menus and its always changing. I 'll be back over and over.

The food at this restaurant was provided complimentary or at a discounted price, however all opinions are 100% mine. A free meal does not buy a good review.
