Have an amazing day with Manhattan Beach Food Tour

As a food blogger, I get invited to a variety of restaurants. However, last Saturday I got to go to 7 in one day! The owners of the Manhattan Beach Food Tour invited me to partake in their self hosted 1 year anniversary tour! So. Much. FUN!!!!

It's a 3 to 3.5 hour tour that starts at Metlox Plaza by the Pier. The tour includes 5 to 7 stops. (Don't worry, its not all sit down restaurants. Several of the stops are grab and go and you'll be eating as you walk to the next destination.) The great thing is that the tour guides (who are also the owners) give you such great tid bits about both the restaurant and the city itself! It's $75 for adults and $60 for kids from 5 years to 12 years old. You will leave stuffed!

Keep reading for all the places we stopped on the tour and a discount code!

919 Manhattan Ave

The Guacho Acai Bowl - topped with granola, honey, bananas, strawberries and blueberries. It was wonderful. I'm not normally a fan of these, but that granola has me a forever a fan!

1001 Manhattan Ave

Meet "The Boat". Its a boat shapped pizza filled with a blend of Greek and mozzarella cheeses. Its very rich and decadent and so, so delicious! This was probably my most favorite stop.

229 Manhattan Beach Blvd

Meet the "15 minute (but worth the wait!) Wings" They were crispy but super moist and had an Asian flavor profile. One of my favorite items on the tour! And yes, it does take a full 15 minutes to get these. :)

120 Manhattan Beach Blvd

The Coconut Crusted Mahi Sliders were super delicious. Soft slider bun, coconut crusted mahi and a citrusy slaw. Although these were super tasty, they weren't my favorite item. The bread to protein ratio was a bit off, but still very nice.

1005 Manhattan Ave

You get your choice of either a shredded beef or shrimp taco. The beef comes on a flour crispy shell with lettuce and the shrimp comes on two corn tortillas. They were both super delicious! Make sure you ask for their house made spicy salsa! Soo good!

BACCHUS WINE MADE SIMPLE1000 Manhattan Ave This was a quick wine sampling stop. They give you a choice of 2 samples from a list of 5 or six wines. The owners were so nice and knowledgeable and all the bottles were super affordable!

1120 Manhattan Ave

The home of Original Cream'wich sandwich. These are delicious. I was kinda sad that we only got a two bite sample!

1025 Manhattan Ave

Beckers was on cupcake wars! They make specialty cakes and cupcakes plus an array of different cookies and pastries like this sugar cookie surfboard. A few things you should know. Wear comfy shoes. You won't be walking a marathon, but you will be walking up and down a few hills. They will provide a bottle water for you and wine at the tasting, but you will need to purchase any other beverages. Purchasing a cocktail or two is totally acceptable and encouraged. They want you to be comfy and relaxed and have a great time. Lastly bring a little extra spending money. There's quite a few really cute shops. You may want to do a little shopping after the tour is over.

It was such a beautiful day and we had such a great time. It was super relaxing and the tour guides were amazing. I'm sooo honored that they let me celebrate their 1 year anniversary with them! As a side note, they do larger groups and corporate events also. It's a great team building event for you and your co-workers. And it sounds like they just started a second food tour in Hermosa Beach! Check out their website and use promo code BITE15 to get 15% off a tour!

Make sure to tell them that Norma sent you! Have fun!!! Manhattan Beach Food Tour

The food at this restaurant was provided complimentary or at a discounted price, however all opinions are 100% mine. A free meal does not buy a good review.
