Victory Bread (Take Out)
Sometimes the smallest places are the BEST places. Victory bread and take out is an family, Armenian owned, mom and pop shop run by a brother, sister and husband. Originally only Victory Bread, the take out restaurant is a spin off for the owners dream to provide good food to everyone. Only open for 7 months this take out joint is showing its self to be a leader, living up to the Victory Bread name.
The menu is simple, kabobs and grilled meat, salad and pastries. While the pastries are all made fresh from the take out restaurant, all the bread and lavash is provided by its very successful sister, Victory Bread. These are all recipes that have been handed down by generation. The food is fresh and you can taste the love they have for everything they make. Pro tip, the meats tend to be a tad on the spicy side so if that’s a problem for those with mild tummies, opt for the grilled chicken. There's no heat, just spice. Nothing is ever frozen and everything is a made from scratch with no preservatives.
I was blessed to be able to try most of the menu. My favorite was the kabob platter with the fried dill potatoes and the Ajarski. The bread was so light and crispy. The cheese was slightly salty and when mixed with the eggs it was creamy heaven. So good! 2nd Pro Tip...call ahead on this...It takes about 25 minutes to bake as they make it from scratch for every order.
