Yummy cakes from Pots & Co

So I recently got the chance to taste some of the products from Pots & Co. I was soooooooooo surprised at not only how cute they were, but how good they tasted! I'm not a huge dessert person, but I know what a good dessert tastes like. Especially since I used to sell cakes. These are top notch and could pass for a dessert sold at a high end restaurant. They are super rich and decadent!!

Pots & Co is a London based business, but have recently been available in Costco's in California. They have two different products. There are the cakes in a ceramic ramekin (pot) or chocolate ganaches in a tiny plastic cups. Both products are sold in packages of four. When I say they are fantastically delicious, its a total understatement! They truly taste gourmet and would be perfect for a chic dinner party as the pots are exactly what I would use in a restaurant or even if I were making these at home!

The different colored pots show case each of the different flavors they have. Not all are available in the US, so you'll have to find out what your local Costco is carrying at the time. The flavors that I was able to try were the chocolate fudge lava cake, the caramel lava cake and the sticky toffee pudding. I was also able to taste the salted caramel ganache and the chocolate ganache. Which taste similar to the frostings out of a can, but sooo much better.

To eat the lava cakes you simply put in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds. Then wait one minute. Be sure to use some type of pot holder when handling because these little suckers get really hot. the other cakes can be eaten straight out of the refridgerator (however, I'd let it sit on the counter for a good 5 mins first to take the initial chill off. You can serve as is or top with a little whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

The best part of it all is that the colorful pots can be kept and used later! They are microwavable and dish washer safe. They can be used for cooking or used as mini planters, to hold paper clips or even simply recycled.

I love these. Really love them. I'll definitely be purchasing more in the future!

The food at this restaurant was provided complimentary or at a discounted price, however all opinions are 100% mine.

A free meal does not buy a good review.
